Hi Elaine,

Thanks for drop by and do say hi to me at facebook so that I know it's you! (I got few friends by the name of "Elaine"). Hehee... :)

You can always register your own domain name and hosting and no need to worry about the "migrate" because blogspot has a function for you to transfer the content to your new domain name website. I have tried this function myself and it works well.

You could still have all the content shown in the new site and at the same time blogspot would help to divert all your readers to your new site too. :)

Hope the above helps.

I hv created a blog for my son using blogspot - more like a diary. If i would like to get my own domain and hosting, then would it be really tedious to 'migrate' all my content in blogspot to this new website. Pls advise. Thanks!

*p.s: btw got to know yr site from facebook. :P

Yah Poh Heng, I believe Ashton and Ashyln love the themes very much.. so cute! And they must be very grateful to have parents who plant the seed for them.. ;)

True about the personal blogging, is the sharing and life diary. So shouldn't care about whether it makes us money. Be more serious when comes to "business blogging" will do. :)

Hi Moon, best thing is both the themes for Ashton and Ashlyn are free.

Thanks for your great post here. I agree that if you want to earn money from blogs, keep it relevant.

Like for me, i started my personal blog to want to talk about money. In the end, i just create another blog to talk about it <a href="http://growwealthtips.com" rel="nofollow">Grow Wealth Tips</a>.

Now i keep my personal blog to blog on anything i want - like my kids, family, resolutions which are, well personal so i don't really bother whether they earn me money or not :-)
