You can be a business consultant, marketing consultant or a consultant in any area that you have expertise in. Marketing is important. Get out the word with family and friends. Business cards and flyers will help to promote, along with the use of the internet with a website.

If you have been told you have a flair for planning parties, this can be a very rewarding job. You will want to compile some ideas into a booklet with pictures and plans. A website would work wonders here, as many people now use the internet to find such people. Business cards, references and a few photos are a must. Again, use your base to help get out the word.
